Crafted by hand, made for today

We believe a home should feel collected, not decorated — full of pieces that were made slowly, by hand, and chosen with care.

Why we started

Most homes have plenty of things. We wanted to fill them with stories.

Aangan Bazaar began with a simple frustration: beautiful, hand-made décor was hard to find in American stores, and most of what we did find felt mass-produced. Painted by machine, finished in a hurry, forgotten in a season.

So we set out to build something different — a U.S. home brand for pieces that are painted, carved and stitched by hand in folk-art traditions, then edited for the way we live now: open floor plans, gallery walls, and rooms that mix old and new.

Every piece we carry is meant to be the one guests ask about.

How it's made

From brush to your front door

  1. Designed

We choose motifs, palettes and shapes that feel timeless and sit comfortably in a modern room.

  2. Made by hand

Each piece is painted, carved or embroidered by hand — so small variations are part of its character.

  3. Finished & checked

Every piece is inspected for finish and quality before it's packed to travel.

  4. Delivered

At launch, pieces ship across the U.S. — free on orders over $150.

Aangan is the open courtyard at the heart of a home — the place everyone gathers. Bazaar is where you go to find something you didn't know you needed. The name, in two words
